If we view the Devas as a parallel existence to ours, concerned but ultimately objective, able to act only in partnership with us (rather than the more conventional view of guiding angels who support and comfort us in difficult times), we may be reflecting a more realistic view of these shining energies. They are numinous, powerful, humorous, sometimes even wonderfully sensual - but they are not co-dependent. |
